What personal data we collect and why we collect it
For the purpose of our booking and financial administration, we collect the personal data of our customers, such as: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address & transaction data.
We follow the legal 7-year registration obligation and the tax obligation to retain our data collection.
Personal data is created not only by user interactions via booking sites, booking website contact forms and our own website, but also via email contact and telephone or personal contact. In all these cases we assume the implicit consent of our customers to register.
By default, our website does not collect any personal information about visitors to our site.
Contact forms
If a visitor has completed a contact form with personal information via our website, we will only store this information if this visitor has actually become a customer of ours. We store the personal information that has been entered and the information that we later receive through follow-up contact.
We will keep this data for the legal and tax period of 7 years.
We may be able to use the information provided for relationship management.
Analytics
We collect analytics data anonymously.
With whom we share your data
The third parties with whom we share data are only those websites and booking partners that our customers have used to register and book with us.
We use the sites of Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, Buitenbusiness, Inspirerendvergaderen, Meetingselect, Vergaderlocation.nl, Groepen.nl, Vakantieadres.nl, Natuurhuisje.nl. We will never provide personal data to them. They do function as a conduit for the data provided by our customer for the benefit of our services. We would therefore like to refer to their privacy policy.
We also manually add customer data to MyTourist (our reservation system), Mailchimp (data collection) and e-boekhouden.nl (accounting system). We only provide information that is necessary for our own and accounting services.
How long we keep your data
The usage phase: We process personal data for the purpose of providing good and professional services to our customers. This period will last until we have provided and invoiced our service.
The archiving phase: This is the period during which we may still need personal data. We calculate 7 years for this. At this stage we retain this data for administrative reasons or legal regulations.
After 7 years, we assume that we no longer need personal data in any way and will destroy it.
What rights you have over your data
A visitor or customer can at any time exercise their right to request us to destroy his/her data. We would like to be informed of this via the usual communication channels.
How we protect your data
We use the standard measures of all our cloud services to protect our data. These may be technical measures, such as encryption, security measures, two-factor authentication and other measures.
